UNM men’s soccer records shutout

The University of New Mexico men’s soccer team claimed its second straight exhibition shutout Thursday as the Lobos beat visiting Fort Lewis College 4-0.

UNM got goals from sophomore Simon Spangenberg, senior Niko Hansen, sophomore Gabriel Camera and freshman Billy Jones. Junior goalkeeper Jason Beaulieu was in goal.

The Lobos end exhibition play at home at 6 p.m. Saturday against Washington. The Huskies are coached by former UNM assistant Jamie Clark and his assistant Jeff Rowland, who was an All-America player for the Lobos.
