Roswell native begins quest

Roswell’s Nathan Schrimsher, representing the United States, is in ninth place out of 36 competitors in the modern pentathlon after the fencing portion of the competition. Aleksandr Lesun of Russia set an Olympic record with a score of 268. Schrimsher’s score was 220. The modern pentathlon resumes Saturday with the remainder of the events.
