New app for Santa Fe County trails

Santa Fe County has launched a new trails app, an extension of the recently released online interactive trails map, which is available at www.santafenmtrue.com or www.santafecountynm.gov.

The new app features maps for trails in the county and the city, and on U.S. Forest Service land, as well as private trails, such as those in the Galisteo Preserve. It’s available for both Apple and Android mobile phones and can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store by searching for “Santa Fe County Trails.” The app was developed by Mindshare Labs, a local Santa Fe app and website development company.

The app contains trail descriptions, elevation profiles, images, parking locations and contact info. The map allows users to search for trails based on user type.
