Moving firm offers free help for seniors

The Bellhops moving company will offer $25,000 in free manual labor services to seniors across the country in honor of National Senior Citizens Day.

The services will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to those ages 65 and older who place their order on Sunday. Seniors can request help by calling 1-888-836-3939 or going online to www. Getbellhop­s.com and using the coupon code “SeniorDay2­016.”

The order must be made on Sunday, but the jobs can take place at a future date. The offer includes moving and lifting help from two Bellhops for an hour. Fees will apply for jobs lasting more than an hour or happening outside of the Bellhops area.

Jewish group hosts NM-Israel forum

The Jewish Federation of New Mexico is holding a New Mexico-Israel economic forum from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday in the 10th floor event room at the city-county building.

The event will consist of three panels: “The State of the New Mexico-Israel Relationsh­ip: an update from New Mexican and Israeli civic leadership;” “Water Resource Management and Hydrotechn­ology: the New Mexico-Israel connection;” and “The New Mexico-Israel Business Connection: what drives New Mexico’s secondlarg­est trade relationsh­ip?”

Speakers include Rep. Michelle Lujan-Grisham, D-N.M., Eitan Levon, Israeli consul general to the Southwest U.S., Bernalillo County Commission­er Wayne Johnson and others.
