McMahon, John T.

John T. McMahon, 75, born in New York City and passed away September 18, 2016 in Albuquerque with his wife and daughter beside him.

He is survived by his wife, Millie; his son, Jack McMahon and wife, Emily; his daughter, Mollie McMahon; grandchildren, Teagen Skye McMahon and Cinder Sage McMahon; his sisters, Peggy Dreher and husband, Richard, Kitty Clarke, and Helen McMahon; and sister- in-law, Kathleen McMahon; and many other family and friends.

John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Margaret McMahon and brother, Thomas McMahon. He was the owner of Gerding, McMahon, Padon and Koller Insurance Company in Albuquerque for over 40 years, and was very active in our community serving on the RCI board, Presbyterian Foundation, Chaparral Adoption Agency Board as well as many other orgizations. He was a graduate of the University of New Mexico where he was active on the Lobo swimming, track and baseball teams. John served in the United States Marine Corp Reserves from 1964 1969. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed meeting and making friends.
