Leadership NM names ABQ-area participants
36 from 16 communities across state to participate in 2016-17 Core Program
Leadership New Mexico has announced that the following leaders from the Albuquerque area are among the 36 leaders from 16 communities across the state selected to participate in the organization’s 2016-2017 Core Program.
Selected this year are: Silvia Alvarez, executive vice president, commercial banking manager, First National Rio Grande; Jorge Brasil, chief of food and beverage operations, Laguna Development Corp.; Jennifer Deal, controller, Jaynes Corp.; Tom Domme, general council and vice president, external affairs, New Mexico Gas Co.; Joseph Esquibel-Aragon, plant manager, Crystal Springs Bottled Water; Sharon Friedes, advertising director, Albuquerque Journal; Benjamin Gardner, vice president and principal, Dekker/Perich/Sabatini; Carolyn Green, vice president, Presbyterian Delivery System chief nursing officer, Presbyterian Healthcare Services; Mario Juarez Infante, vice president, Wilson & Co., Engineers & Architects; Jill Klar, interim chief executive officer, UNM Medical Group Inc.; Matt Martin, chief operating officer, Brycon Corp; Jared Matts, tax director and shareholder, Atkinson & Co. Ltd.; Amy Miller, director of community and local government engagement, PNM Resources Inc.; JF Nagel, research and development director, Sandia National Laboratories; Teresa Reinhard, community support coordinator, Department of Defense, United States Air Force; James Salsbury, senior vice president, HB Construction; Randy Shaffer, vice president of sales and marketing, Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico; and Chez Steel, executive vice president, Century Bank.
Leadership New Mexico’s Core Program involves leaders who represent the various geographic regions and communities, from the public, private, government and nonprofit sectors. The program is intended to help participants enhance their leadership skills and deepen their knowledge of the challenges and opportunities facing our state.
