Weimer, Ellen Mae

Ellen Mae Weimer, age 90, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2016. Ellen was born to William Pratt and Anna Booth in Camden, NJ. She attended Collingswood High School, Class of 1943. Ellen married Robert Edgar Weimer Sr. on December 27, 1947 and moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1954. Together they raised three children. She became a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in 1966 and held the position of Office of Secretary for nearly 50 years. She was recently awarded the Star of the Year. Ellen has been a member of St. Luke Lutheran church since 1954 and was the church secretary for many years.

Ellen is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edgar Weimer Sr.; parents, William Pratt and Anna Booth; sister, Anna Mary Oliveri; and brother, William H. Pratt Jr. She is survived by her children, Robert Edgar Weimer Jr., Mary Jeanne O’Guinn, Ruth Ann Syverson; grandchildren, Dawn Marie, Davina Marie, Daniel Paul, Salesse Lynn, Ronald Keith, and Kevin Michael; 8 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. A Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 11 o’clock a.m. at St. Luke Lutheran Church with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m.
