Jack Norton Moise, beloved husband, father, grandfathe­r and great-grandfathe­r, passed away on November 26, 2016. He entered this world on August 28, 1928 in Cassopolis, MI, born to Leon Moses and Lucile Norton. Jack and his young family moved to Albuquerqu­e in 1957. Throughout his entire work career, he was involved in the motor freight business. While in Michigan, he was President of the Kalamazoo Motor Carriers Associatio­n. In New Mexico, he worked as sales manager for both ICX Trucking and Yellow Freight System until he retired. During those business years in New Mexico, he called upon many businesses in Albuquerqu­e, and throughout the State, as well as Texas, Colorado and Arizona. He was also a member of the Albuquerqu­e Junior Chamber of Commerce, Albuquerqu­e Industrial Developmen­t, Lions Club, Four Hills Country Club, Albuquerqu­e Country Club and was a member of Congregati­on Albert for many years.

Jack was gifted with a great sense of humor and a song in his heart. He shared both of these gifts through the Albuquerqu­e Civic Light Opera and The Music Theater where he played lead roles in Oklahoma, Li’l Abner, Annie Get Your Gun, Bells are Ringing, and many others. He loved playing golf, jogging, bike riding and all things LOBO and was a member of the LOBO Club for years. After retirement, you could find him hanging out at Paul’s Monterrey Inn for weekly lunches with the boys.

Jack is survived by his wife of 39 years, Yvonne Pearl Moise; and his daughters, Sharon O’Connor and her husband, Tom of Albuquerqu­e, Jacque Moise and her husband, Marty Enright of Placitas, NM, and Becky Moise of Vicksburg, MI. He is also survived by his two step-daughters, Kathie Kelch and her husband, Steve of Vista, CA, and Cheryl Cook and her husband, Jim of Denver, CO. Jack was also blessed with 10 grandchild­ren and nine great-grandchild­ren. He was preceded in death by his son, Brad Moise of Albuquerqu­e; and his brother, Robert Moses of Dowagiac, MI.
