Ortega, Lucy S.

Lucy Ortega, age 76, a longtime resident of the San Jose Community was called home to be with our dear Lord on November 26, 2016. Lucy was a very precious and patient women who loved her family dearly. Although she did not have any children, she cared for her deceased sister’s two sons, Jacob Jr. and Brian Valencia as her own. Jacob, Brian and their spouses diligently took care of Lucy until she was called home.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ann Valencia.

Lucy is survived by her loving nephews, Jacob Valencia Jr. and his wife, Cheryl Ann, Brian Valencia and his wife, Jessica; her precious niece, Nena Gutierrez, who she was always with; and her favorite aunt Sally Campos; and many other loving relatives and friends who meant the world to her.

A Rosary will be recited on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 9:00 am at Garcia Mortuary~ Chapel of Angels on the corner of 8th and Iron followed by a funeral service. Enichement to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
