Luthy, Carol Ann

Celebration of Life for Carol Ann (Gore) Luthy will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at the Chapel of Direct Services, 2919 4th Street NW in Albuquerque. Carol, 52, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family and friends on Friday, December 2.

Carol was born January 25, 1964 in Albuquerque to Bill Gore and Jackie (Gore) Bradley. Carol attended Valley High School. Carol is best remembered for her kindhearted spirit and desire to help others. Many know her as "butterfly" Carol. Carol never hesitated to help someone in need, she would give her only dollar to someone that needed it more. Carol always had a well-trained dog whom she loved and they were always very loyal to her. Most notably are Poof and Rocky, who could track Carol down anywhere. She enjoyed Sudoku puzzles, coloring, journaling, wearing tie-dye any day of the week, and she especially loved spending time with her many friends. She treasured her close relationship with her two daughters Amber and Ashley. Carol is now at peace, and is free of pain and suffering.

Carol is survived by her mother Jackie Bradley and husband Dave, and her father Bill Gore, all of Albuquerque; daughters Amber Luthy of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Ashley Sargent and her husband Stephen of Orlando, Florida; brother Dave Gore and wife Teresa of Albuquerque; sister Sandy Maxwell and husband Ron; niece Kristen Lindblom and husband Josh and their children Paige, Jillian and Maxwell, all of Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Honorary Pallbearers include her many friends that were like brothers and sisters to Carol. There are far too many to list. The family extends their gratitude to Heartland Hospice for their support in her final days.
