Julie Andrews stars as a magical nanny who teaches two rambunctio­us children how to make their everyday chores more fun in the classic film “Mary Poppins,” airing Saturday, Dec. 10, on ABC. Also starring Dick Van Dyke, the Oscar-winning film features a mix of live action and animation.

Monday Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer (19) 7:00 p.m.

CW has holiday fun for the whole family with an animated special about a grandmothe­r who mysterious­ly disappears in “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer,” airing Monday, Dec. 12. Based on the hit song, the special tells the story of a boy named Jake, who searches for his missing grandmothe­r and tries to prove that Santa Claus is real.

Wednesday Star (2) 8:00 p.m.

Jude Demorest stars as Star, a young woman who sets out to become a singing sensation alongside her sister, Simone (Brittany O’Grady), and her bestie, Alexandra (Ryan Destiny), in the premiere of “Star,” airing Wednesday, Dec. 14, on Fox. Queen Latifah and Benjamin Bratt also star in the new drama.

Thursday The Great American Baking Show (7) 8:00 p.m.

As visions of sugar plums dance in children’s heads, some of the nation’s most talented bakers go head to head in a culinary competitio­n in a new episode of “The Great American Baking Show,” airing Thursday, Dec. 15, on ABC. Co-hosts Nia Vardalos and Ian Gomez lead the bakers through a series of challenges designed to test various skills.

Friday Dr. Ken (7) 7:30 p.m.

Determined to show her Welltopia co-workers her fun side, Allison (Suzy Nakamura) decides to throw an office Christmas party in a new holiday episode of “Dr. Ken,” airing Friday, Dec. 16, on ABC. However, Ken (Ken Jeong) would rather just unwind, and not have to think about work.
