Paul Davidson,

92, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, teacher, and friend, passed away at his Albuquerque home on Saturday, December 31, 2016. Paul was known for his good nature, positive attitude, and kindness.

He was born on December 12, 1924 in Decatur, IL, where he spent his youth. After three years of service in the Army Air Corps, he attended Millikin University in Decatur, where he met his future wife Gloria Schweizer. They were married in 1950 in Albuquerque, NM. After years in the car business, Paul enjoyed teaching at Del Norte High School and TVI (CNM). Through the years he has devoted himself to his family’s interests and activities. He spent his life easing the concerns of others. Paul’s support and friendship at Village Pizza will always be remembered.

He is survived by his sons and their wives, Greg and Kristen of Albuquerque, NM, Tim and Diana of Shiprock, NM, and Doug and Susan of Rio Rancho, NM; grandchildren, Keli Helgeland (Thomas), Scott Davidson (Ashley), Kitt Davidson, Will Davidson (Brittany), Kylie Highhouse (Derek), Seamus Davidson, Makala Davidson, Elena Belotti (Nick), Drew Davidson (Megan); and six great-grandchildren.

Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria; his parents, Kelly and Dora Davidson; three brothers; and one sister.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1100 Indian School Rd. NE, Albuquerque.
