Roschevitz, Lawrence Edward

Lawrence, "Larry" Roschevitz went to his eternal resting home on January 2, 2017. Larry was born December 16, 1937 in Kansas City, KS to Leo and Verna (Meister) Roschevitz.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Rhonda Kay and his brother, Robert Roschevitz.

Larry is survived by his wife, Joan (Foster) of Rio Rancho, NM; son, Kevin and wife Mariann of Kansas City, KS; stepchildren, Mark and wife Sandra Weidenhofer of Lee’s Summit, MO and Lisa Gaeta of Victorville, CA. Also surviving are eight grandchildren; Stacy Roschevitz of Kansas City, KS, Andrew Barraclough and wife Amber of Dallas, TX, Andrew Pearson, of Dallas, TX, Sarah Weidenhofer and Jason Weidenhofer both of Lee’s Summit, MO, Kember Correa and husband Jason of Lackenheath Air Force Base, England, Brynn Gaeta (Luke Symon) of Union city, CA, and Marie Gaeta of Victorville, CA; six great-great grandchildren, Jade Burris, Emory and Cooper Barraclough, Loraina, Jayson and Ryan Correa; a brother, Gary Roschevitz and wife Nancy of Kansas City, KS; a sister, Karen Miner of Leawood, KS and numerous nieces and nephews.

Larry bravely fought a battle with lung cancer; and he did so on his terms by choosing to live life to the fullest without additional medical procedures. His family wants to thank Presbyterian Hospice nurse, Liz Hayes, for the exceptional care she provided. Thank you to all who have kept our family in your prayers these past months.

As per Larry’s request, there will be no public memorial service. Private urn placement will take place in Kansas City, KS.
