Brown now regrets video
Raiders QB Carr credited for his help in search for child
PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown has apologized for livestreaming video from the team’s locker room following its win over Kansas City.
Brown posted a message late Tuesday on Facebook and Twitter saying that he let his “emotions and general excitement get the best of” him. Brown’s 17-minute long livestream caught coach Mike Tomlin using a handful of profanities during his postgame speech, including a derogatory term for AFC championship game opponent New England.
The video received more than 900,000 views before being removed.
RAIDERS: Quarterback Derek Carr is being credited with helping spread word about a suspected abduction when he retweeted an Oakland police lieutenant about a missing child.
On Jan. 14, Carr retweeted Lt. Chris Bolton’s information about the case. Carr has 247,000 Twitter followers.
Police were contacted on Twitter by someone who saw the Amber Alert and a vehicle described in the tweet, according to a Sporting News account via Omnisport. The 3-year-old was found unharmed.
PACKERS: Coach Mike McCarthy says receiver Davante Adams may not practice until Saturday because of an ankle injury, the latest question for a receiving group that may also be without Jordy Nelson for the NFC championship game.
