If roses grow in heaven, Lord, pick a bunch for me; place them in my baby’s arms and tell her they’re from me: Tell her that I love her, and when she looks up to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile; because rememberin­g her is easy; I do it everyday. There’s an ache within my heart that will never go away, Desiree we love you with all our being and we miss you so much. Love, Nana, Bonco, and Mommy Jack Parker, age 73, passed away Saturday January 21 at his home in Albuquerqu­e surrounded by his family.

He is survived by Patti, his wife of 22 years, his twin brother James, sister Donna Jean and brother Robert. He is also survived by his children Michelle Parker, Jeni Hernandez, Sean and Niki Parker as well as by his grandchild­ren Jesi, Elena and C.J. Hernadez and Brianna and Ashley Parker. He recently became a great-grandfathe­r to Jesi’s son Leland. Jack was preceded in death by his parents Sara and Clifford Parker of Smethport PA.

A memorial service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 10000 Spain Rd. on Friday January 27 at 11:00 am. Memorial contributi­ons may be made to MD Anderson’s Glioblasto­ma Moon Shots research program. The web address is www.manderson.org/

cancermoon­shots/ cancer-types/Glioblasto­ma. George J. Stevens - "Kingfish", 94, passed on January 19, 2017. He was born January 18, 1923 in Midland City, MI, to Harley C. Stevens and Ada Dougherty Stevens. He is preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. He was married for 45 years to Frankie L. Stevens – "Sapphire", who also preceded him in death.

He is survived by his son, George Junior Stevens and wife, Beth, and their children, Andrea, Wesley and Evan; daughters, Earleen L Hanes and husband, Ron, and their son, Ryan Hanes, and Joleen K. Stevens and her son, Jason Stevens; and numerous great-grandchild­ren, nieces, nephews, and

other loving family members.

Friends may visit FRENCH - University for a viewing on Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 27, 2017, 11:00 a.m. also at FRENCH – University. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park.
