Cleveland topples Indiana, enters All-Star break on a high

Bledsoe’s triple-double leads Suns to rousing win over Lakers

CLEVELAND — LeBron James scored 31 points, Kyrie Irving added 26 and Kyle Korver made six 3-pointers as Cleveland beat Indiana 113-104 to roll into the All-Star break with its seventh win in eight games.

Irving and Korver combined to make four 3s in the first 2:50 of the fourth quarter — Korver finished with 22 points and became the seventh player with 2,000 career 3s — as the NBA champions improved to 7-1 in February following a drama-and-distractio­n filled January.

SUNS 137, LAKERS 101: In Phoenix, Eric Bledsoe had his third career triple-double and Devin Booker scored 23 points to lead Phoenix past Los Angeles.

Bledsoe got his 10th rebound with 6:06 to go and exited shortly after, finishing with 25 points and a season high-tying 13 assists.

Lou Williams and D’Angelo Russell led Los Angeles with 21 points apiece.

BUCKS 129, NETS 125: In New York, Giannis Antetokoun­mpo scored 33 points in his final game before making his All-Star debut and Greg Monroe added 25 as Milwaukee sent Brooklyn to the break on a 14-game skid.

Khris Middleton finished with 20 points in his strongest game since returning from a ruptured left hamstring that forced him to miss the first 50 games.

RAPTORS 90, HORNETS 85: In Toronto, Kyle Lowry scored 21 points and Toronto overcame a 17-point fourth-quarter deficit to beat Charlotte.

Norman Powell had 17 points and Jonas Valanciuna­s added 10 points and 11 rebounds for Raptors. Frank Kaminsky had a 27 points, and Kemba Walker added 24 points and nine assists for Charlotte.

SPURS 107, MAGIC 79: In Orlando, Fla., LaMarcus Aldridge scored 23 points and Kawhi Leonard added 22, leading San Antonio past Orlando.

San Antonio’s frontcourt took advantage of a Magic team that was down a key player after newly acquired swingman Terrence Ross was unable to suit up because Serge Ibaka didn’t complete his physical in Toronto time.

PISTONS 98, MAVERICKS 91: In Auburn Hills, Mich., Reggie Jackson scored 22 points and Jon Leuer added 20 as Detroit beat Dallas.

Tobias Harris 13. Dirk Nowitzki had 13 of his 24 points in the third quarter to help the Mavericks rally. THUNDER 116, KNICKS 105: In Oklahoma City, Russell Westbrook scored 38 points and posted his 27th triple-double of the season to help Oklahoma City beat New York.

Westbrook moved into sole possession of third place for the most triple-doubles in a season, behind Oscar Robertson’s 41 in 1961-62 and Wilt Chamberlai­n’s 31 in 1967-68. The star guard had 14 rebounds and 12 assists in the 64th triple-double of his career. HEAT 117, ROCKETS 109: In Houston, Hassan Whiteside had 23 points, 14 rebounds and five blocks to help Miami beat Houston.

Dion Waiters added 23 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, and Goran Dragic had 21 points for the Heat. James Harden had 38 points 12 rebounds and 12 assists for his 15th triple-double of the season to lead the Rockets.

JAZZ 111, TRAIL BLAZERS 88: In Salt Lake City, Gordon Hayward scored 22 points and George Hill added 19 as Utah defeated Portland.

The Jazz ended a three-game overall losing streak heading into the All-Star break.

CELTICS 116, 76ERS 108: In Boston, Isaiah Thomas scored 13 of his 33 points in the fourth quarter as Boston held on to beat Philadelph­ia.

It was the 40th straight 20-point game for Thomas, tying the team record set by John Havlicek during the 1971-72 season. Philadelph­ia’s loss ended its three-game winning streak.

PELICANS 95, GRIZZLIES 91: In Memphis, Tenn., Solomon Hill scored a season-high 23 points and Anthony Davis added 18, including a key basket with 38.8 seconds left that helped New Orleans hold off Memphis.

The Pelicans built an 18-point lead and cruised through the first three quarters. But they had to stem a fourth-quarter rally that saw the Grizzlies close to 92-91 on Vince Carter’s 3-pointer with 48.5 seconds left. TIMBERWOLV­ES 112, NUGGETS 99: In Denver, Andrew Wiggins scored 40 points and KarlAnthon­y Towns added 24 points and 18 rebounds in Minnesota’s victory over Denver.

WARRIORS 109, KINGS 86: In Oakland, Calif., the Warriors overcame a three-point halftime deficit to clobber Sacrament behind 35 points by Klay Thompson. CLIPPERS 99, HAWKS 79: In Los Angeles, the Clippers’ Blake Griffin had a team-high 17 points and nine assists in LA’s win over Atlanta.
