A PEACEFUL HABITATION HOME & AFTERCARE

MINISTRY, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, providing transition­al support and housing opportunit­ies for women recently released from incarcerat­ion or other recovery organizati­ons, is hosting their annual fundraisin­g gala to help defray costs associated with providing services to their clients. The theme this year is “Roaring 20’s.” The gala will take place on Saturday, April 22 from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Marriott Hotel, 2101 Louisiana NE. There will be a silent auction including jewelry, art and other treasures. A raffle, for an opportunit­y to win $1,000 cash; a guided fishing trip to Bluewater; and a one-night stay at the Marriott, will be held. Tickets for the raffle are $10 each or six for $50.
