A PEACEFUL HABITATION HOME & AFTERCARE
MINISTRY, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, providing transitional support and housing opportunities for women recently released from incarceration or other recovery organizations, is hosting their annual fundraising gala to help defray costs associated with providing services to their clients. The theme this year is “Roaring 20’s.” The gala will take place on Saturday, April 22 from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Marriott Hotel, 2101 Louisiana NE. There will be a silent auction including jewelry, art and other treasures. A raffle, for an opportunity to win $1,000 cash; a guided fishing trip to Bluewater; and a one-night stay at the Marriott, will be held. Tickets for the raffle are $10 each or six for $50.
