IT TAKES A LOT of nerve for coach Neal to say that his technical and Brown’s flagrant foul had nothing to do with the outcome of the game. If the Lobos had those extra points during the last two minutes of the game they could have dictated the strategy with a real chance of winning. — TT
AS A UNM student for the first 9 years of the Pit (through grad school) and then as a loyal alum for 41 years, there have been some really difficult teams to watch, but because of unmet expectations, talent wasted and apparent lack of will to win, this may have been the worst one ever in 50 years. — Out of patience, tired of mediocrity, won’t be back!

by Paul Krebs that Craig Neal is coming back is pure nonsense. The fact is, Krebs couldn’t afford the buyout. So who’s going to evaluate Krebs and ask him why he gave Neal a 2 year contract extension after Neal’s first season in 2013-14? Ex UNM President Robert Frank’s tweet about the Lobos not being able to win 20 games might have been a telling statement.
