Albuquerqu­e writer Eileen O’Connell will talk about “Visions and Revisions” at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 26.

John Kessell will sign “Wither the Waters” at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 27.

Bernardo de Miera y Pacheco (1713-1785) is remembered today not only as colonial New Mexico’s preeminent religious artist, but also as the cartograph­er who drew some of the most important early maps of the American West. Patricia Perea will discuss the “Pueblo Indian Food Experience Cookbook:

Whole Food of Our Ancestors” at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 29.

This cookbook is a product of the Flowering Tree Permacultu­re Institute, founded by Roxanne Swentzell at Santa Clara Pueblo.
