Great News (4) 8:00 p.m. Andrea Martin returns to network television as Carol, a mother who decides to take an internship at her daughter Katie’s (Briga Heelan) news show in the new comedy “Great News,” airing Tuesday, May 2, on NBC. In this new episode, Chuck (John Michael Higgins) misses a day of work for the first time ever.

Wednesday

Criminal Minds (13) 8:00 p.m. Members of the BAU pursue the nation’s most twisted criminals in the hopes of stopping them before they can strike again in a new episode of “Criminal Minds,” airing Wednesday, May 3, on CBS. Currently in its 12th season, the popular drama was recently renewed.

Thursday

Scandal (7) 8:00 p.m. Olivia (Kerry Washington) and Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) face off against Rowan (Joe Morton) as the future of the country hangs in the balance in this new episode of “Scandal,” airing Thursday, May 4, on ABC. Also, Jake (Scott Foley) attempts to manipulate the woman.

Blue Bloods (13) 9:00 p.m. The Reagan family protects the people of New York City in the season finale of “Blue Bloods,” airing Friday, May 5, on CBS. Led by patriarch Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck), the Reagans include cops Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Jamie (Will Estes), and Assistant D.A. Erin (Bridget Moynahan).
