Garner, William Dennis

-

"Wild Bill" Dressed head-totoe in Levi’s and cowboy boots.

Coors and a pack of Camel’s never out of reach. Few words spoken.

Yet, a world of emotion engulfs as you hold on to every word, no matter how long it takes to come out. His thick beard muffles the mumbles of his voice. Long, dark hair draped across his shoulders and down his back. A quiet confidence rarely rivaled. A storm of creativity swallows his soul. Seeing beauty and potential in all things his kind, gentle eyes met. With each methodical movement, his mind measures. So much so, some might call him slow. Little did they know he was far ahead. Don’t get me wrong this man was in no hurry, there was always tomorrow, until there simply wasn’t. Knocked down time and time again but refusing to stay there. Stubborn as they come. He continued to give it everything he had. Every ounce of energy into everything he did. May 6, 1955 was the beginning of an incredible and improbable life.

His brother, Bud, and sister-n-law, Liz, his wife, Lori, and his son, Chaney, there as he left us April 28, 2017. But soon he will reunite with his son, Paul taken too soon, along with his mom and some pals he hasn’t seen in years.

Join us for some brisket, blues and booze at a memorial on June 17th, 2017.
