Sanchez, Virginia "Higinia"

Virginia "Higinia" Sanchez, age 97, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 4 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Cuba, NM on

May 2, 1920.

She was preceded in death by her husband Tony A. Sanchez. She is survived by her children Debra Roybal and husband Mike, Cynthia Sanchez and John Sanchez; two dear grandchildren Adam Roybal and wife Troyce and Bethanie Sanchez; and other family members who loved her and will miss her dearly.

There will be a visitation Thursday, May 11, 2017 beginning at 9:00 am followed by a Rosary and Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at Gate of Heaven Cemetery 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Funeral services are in the Care of Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW. 343-8008
