Wylie, Tony

Tony Wylie, 89 was called home by the Lord May 3, 2017 at his home. Tony was born in San Fidel NM on June 13, 1927 and a longtime resident of Alb, NM.

Tony dedicated his life to his loving wife Agnes of 62 years as well as his five children, 11 grandchildren, and nine great-grandkids and his dog Scruffy, "his little girl".

He is a Korean war veteran who was proud to fight for our country, and he loved telling his war stories to his grand kids.

He is preceded by his daughter Joann Candelaria. He is survived by his wife Agnes Wylie, daughter Audrey Wylie; sons and their spouses Anthony and Carol Wylie, Daniel Wylie and Denise Valdez, Nick Wylie and Mary Helen and his son-inlaw Jerry Candelaria. Tony cherished his 11 grandkids and their spouses, Dominic and Viola Martinez, April Wylie and Felipe Mendoza, Matthew Wylie, Jimmy Wylie, Lori Wylie, Lisa Wylie, Jessica Wylie-Salazar, Johnny Wylie, Kimberly Wylie, Lexy Wylie, and Felisha Candelaria. He had nine greatgrandchildren who brought him so much joy and happiness, Brianna WylieNoriega, Felipe Mendoza Jr, Eliaz Mendoza, Michael Mendoza, Areeana Ignacita Mendoza, Maria Martinez, Shanel Burgos, Analeah Burgos, and Hunter Jasin.

Pallbearers are Anthony Wylie, Daniel Wylie, Nick Wylie, Dominic Martinez, Matthew Wylie and Felipe and Eliaz Mendoza.

Services will be held 5/11/17 at Riverside Funeral Home (Chapel) 225 San Mateo NE. 1st Viewing for immediate family at 9:00am. Viewing/Visitation at 10:00am, Rosary 10:30am, Funeral Service 11:00am. Interment at Santa Fe National Cemetery 3:00pm
