Plants, birds, more at annual Herbfest

Friends of the Rio Grande Nature Center presents Herbfest from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 13-14, at the center, 2901 Candelaria NW.

Herbs, wildflowers and native plants will be for sale, along with arts and crafts, bird and nature walks, speakers, live birds, activities for kids and music.

Admission is free, parking is $3 per car.
