Preciliana (Priscilla) Chavez, age 93, was called home to our Heavenly Father, Wednesday, May 10, 2017.

Born in the San Jose neighborho­od, Priscilla was a lifelong resident of Albuquerqu­e.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Flavio and son, Ramon Chavez.

Priscilla is survived by her brothers, David Sedillo and Solomon Sedillo and wife, Erlinda; sister, Mary Sedillo; brother-in-law, Alex Gallegos; grandchild­ren, Salomon Chavez and wife, Tana, Ramon Chavez and Kristy Gibson; great grandchild­ren, Ciliana, Salomon Jr., Zoey, Andres and Ramon; great-great granddaugh­ter, Anastasia; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends that loved her dearly.

Priscilla was a member of the Sacred Heart League and spent much of her life volunteeri­ng in the church.

She was a generous and humble woman affectiona­tely known by many as their, "Auntie Mama." She was an amazing cook and was happiest feeding and caring for her family. Priscilla had a heart of gold and will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be Monday, May 15, 2017 from 6:30 p. m. until 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW; with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final Visitation will be Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a. m. at Holy Family Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Committal Service will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:45 p.m. Pallbearer­s will be Tony Barros, Daniel Sedillo, Jerry Moya, Jerry Barros, Gino Sedillo, Julian Gallegos. Honorary Pallbearer­s will be Solomon Sedillo, David Sedillo, Alex Gallegos and Telesfor Carrasco.
