Cecilia Garcia, surrounded by prayer, Cecilia Marcella Garcia was received into God’s kingdom on Tuesday, May

9, 2017. She will be most remembered by her fiery spirit, her love for her family, her faith and her willingness to help others in need.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Antonino Duran; son, Paul Garcia; granddaughter, Janel Garcia.

Cecilia is survived by her children, Raul Garcia Sr. and partner, Debbie, Anthony Garcia Sr. and wife, Nancy, Joe Garcia Sr. and wife, Rose, Lorenzo Garcia, Angelina Atencio and husband, Benjamin, Frances Rodriguez and husband, Victor, Christine Gutierrez and husband, Sam Sr.; siblings, Manuel Archuleta, Fidelia Rodriguez, Maria Lena Rocha; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 7:00 pm at Garcia Mortuary~ Chapel of Angels on the corner of 8th and Iron. A Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 309 Stover Ave. SW. Interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be, Florencio Gomez, Anthony Garcia Jr., Raul Garcia Jr., Stephen Trujillo, Sam Gutierrez II, Elijah Espinosa and Chloe Garcia. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Joseph Gutierrez Jr., Cesar Garcia, Ari Lovato, Sam Gutierrez Sr., Vincent Teupell and John Zamora.
