Wagner, Patrick J.

Patrick J. Wagner, age 57, died unexpectedly on Monday, May 8, 2017.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Diana; daughter, Katrina Wagner who was the apple of his eye; son, Robert Wagner; siblings, Beth Ann Maeder and husband, Dennis, James E. Wagner and wife, Christine Ann, Jo Ann Bilbrey and husband, Randy; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Patricia Ann Wagner; and two sisters, Linda Joy Drexler and Pamela Jean Wagner.

He was born in 1959 in Milwaukee and graduated from Wauwatosa High School. Patrick then attended the University of Wisconsin -Madison where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He then attended the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. Patrick worked for the IRS briefly before going to work for the United States Forest Service as an auditor up until his death.

He was an extremely bound and determined person who had a strong belief in his family and was very proud of his family, especially his daughter, Katrina and her musical talent. Patrick always spoke very highly of his parents, especially his mother. He was known in his neighborhood as the "man who walked his dogs." He loved animals in general especially his horses, three dogs, and three cats.

Patrick was the victor over tremendous physical adversity during his life. He was very active in his community, serving on the Edgewood Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee. Patrick was a devoted husband, loving father, brother, uncle and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, 10:30 a. m. at Valley View Christian Church, 170 ST Rd 344, NM-344, Edgewood.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Patrick’s name to Walking N Circles Ranch, Inc., 198 Weimer Rd. N, Stanley, NM 87056.
