-

Donald "Don" E. Krouse, 83, of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, June 30,

2017 at his home surrounded by family.

Don was born December 9, 1933 in Ada, OH to Oscar and Adelia (Kissel) Krouse. He graduated from Sugar Creek Local High School in 1951 and attended Ohio Northern University. On April 27, 1958 he married Jeanne LeVeck in Deshler, OH. Don was employed as a Medical Device Sales Representative for over 25 years and most recently worked as a masonry estimator. He enjoyed his work and only retired a few years prior to his passing. Don was also a talented engineer who began building things from a young age. A passion for aviation led him to build his own plane after receiving his private pilot’s license. His talent only grew as he continued to build things for his entire family to enjoy from an RV to a swiveling see saw. From flying a plane to riding motorcycles to the mundane, he did everything with a joy for life and his family.

Don is survived by his wife, Jeanne Krouse; his three daughters, Dawn Gray and her husband, Ryan, Anne Rider and her husband, Kevin, and Lynn Judge and her husband, Jason, all of Albuquerque, NM; four grandchildren, Corey Rider, Jenna and Lauren Gray, and Ava Judge; and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, July 7, 2017, 11:00 a.m., at FRENCH – Wyoming with Reverend Matt Pooley officiating.
