- FRENCH - University 1111 University Blvd. NE 505.843.6333 www.frenchfunerals.com

Maurilio (Mave) Sanchez was guided to his eternal home by the angels on Tuesday, July 11, 2017. In this life he fought a courageous battle with cancer. So tired and so brave, he never complained nor wanted his family to know his suffering. His faith and quiet ability to carry his cross will always be an inspiration to those who loved him.

Maurilio was born in Torreon, NM and later moved to Albuquerque where he went to school. The second oldest sibling of nine children, he helped raise his younger siblings and throughout his life continued to some degree in that role.

In life he was a blessing for all whose lives he touched and will remain our blessing and inspiration. Maurilio will be greatly missed, but his suffering has ended and we look forward to the day we will see him again.

Maurilio is survived by his wife, Viola; son, Joseph; daughter, Dolores and son-in law, Darren; his brothers, Valentin, Erminio and Dennis Sanchez; his sisters, Angie Jaramillo, Irene Benito, and Rosie Benito; several nieces and nephews; his godchildren, John Garcia, Andrew Abeyta, Josephine Martinez, Debbie Sanchez, and Rosanna De Riva.

The family wishes to send their sincere appreciation to Abigail Gilbert-Savi, Giselle, Meghan, Jessica Sanchez and all the hospice in-- patient unit staff for their continued support and care of Maurilio.

Memorial Services for Maurilio will be Monday, July 17, 2017 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW. The Mass will be on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. also at the church, Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Please visit our online guestbook for Maurilio at www.FrenchFunerals.com
