As chief of staff for the New Mexico Attorney General’s Office I worked on local legislatio­n and federal grants (2006-2014).

I have served on boards and committees that form legislatio­n recommenda­tions: Child Fatality Review Board (2001-2010), Intimate Partner Death Review Team (eight years, served as chairwoman 2003), Domestic Minor Sex Traffickin­g Committee (2015-2017).

As chief of staff for the NMAGO, I worked on legislatio­n against human traffickin­g, formation of New Mexico’s first anti-corruption investigat­ion unit, internet crimes against children issues, statewide methamphet­amine, prescripti­on drug, and opioid addiction issues, and prescripti­on take back efforts.

MAJOR PERSONAL ACCOMPLISH­MENT: Raising five children, who are hard working adults, overcame challenges, and made the right career choices. I love my family! I am also proud of organizing the first DNA “John Doe” indictment of the “Ether man rapist” now serving a 276-year sentence.
