Pachy-palooza

Come to the ABQ BioPark’s zoo today for a celebration of elephants, hippos and rhinos, all known as pachy(thick) derms(skin). Pachy-palooza is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the animals’ habitats; the African amphitheater will give you the natural history and diet of each species, plus you’ll learn how to make a difference for them in the wild. Keeper talks are 11 a.m. for rhinos, hippos at 1 p.m. and a live elephant training demo at noon. Free with admission.
