Prall, Daniel Eugene
Daniel Eugene Prall, of Santa Fe,
New Mexico, died Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at Lovelace Hospital in Albuquerque. He was severely injured in a car accident in Santa Fe on Friday, May 26, 2017. Dan was born December
29, 1937, in Milo, Iowa and graduated from Newton High School, Newton, Iowa, in 1956. He graduated from Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa, in 1960 with a Degree in Business Administration.
Dan received his U.S. Air Force Training at Lackland Air Base, San Antonio, Texas, starting in the 1960. He was honorably discharged after three years and honorably discharged a second time form the U. S. Air Force Reserve as a Captain on December 8, 1970.
Dan was employed by the National Security Agency at Fort George G. Meade with the Maryland Statistical Services while residing at Annapolis, Maryland. He retired in 1993 and moved to Santa Fe. Dan volunteered at the Museum of International Folk Art and the Fray Angelico Chavez History Library.
Survivors include brother, Richard D. Prall of Albuquerque; nephew, Kirk D. Prall and wife, Tanya of Boise, Idaho; and niece, Kim Prall McCoy and husband, Jim of Tijeras, New Mexico.
