Monroe, Sandra S.

Sandra S. Monroe, 68, of Albuquerque, died on Friday 9/8, 2017 following a lengthy illness at the Presbyterian Rust Medical Center in Rio Rancho, NM. She was born July 30, 1949 in North Tarrytown, NY, to James and Lelia Stover.

She is survived by her daughter Kimberly A. Melzer, brothers James, Ronald and Paul Stover, her sister Lori Stover, nephews Ryan, Devin, Shawn, Colby Stover and Jeffrey Davis, nieces Shana and Ashlyn Stover and several cousins. Sandra’s father, James Stover & mother, Lelia Stover & brother, Stewart Stover preceded her in death.

Sandra was a long time resident of Albuquerque where she lived and worked for over 40 years and was known by her many friends and former employees of a popular local restaurant chain as a very fun loving, caring and loyal person. She enjoyed cooking & loved gatherings with family and friends.
