Babette Saenz,

61, beloved child of God, was called home to her eternal resting place on September 7, 2017.

She entered this world on November 21, 1955, in Albuquerqu­e, NM, born to Adolph (Mary Ellen) and

Jan Saenz. She is preceded in death by her beloved son, Christophe­r Alejandro Saenz, her sister, Lauren Krachman, and her nephew, Robert Scott Saenz. She is survived by her mother Jan Saenz, father Adolph Saenz; brothers Kurt Saenz (Theresa), Michael Saenz, Eric Saenz; sister Marie Sisi Miranda; nephews and nieces, William Krachman, Stephanie Martinez (Jeff), Ashleigh Chasteen (Colby), Michael Taylor, Ivan Duran, Mariah Esqueda (Carlos); Ean Duran, Lauren Saenz, Kelsey Miller, Miranda Saenz, Taylor Saenz, Loren Saenz, and many great nephews and nieces.

Dr. Babette Saenz (MPA, DOM, MITS) was a renowned Doctor of Oriental Medicine in Albuquerqu­e and a strong proponent of integrated medicine. She was deeply committed to the profession of healing and continued to give of herself even beyond her physical life here on earth through her decision to become an organ donor. Babette was an active member of Legacy Church and local community and impacted many lives through her selfless dedication to others. After the tragic loss of her son at the age of 16, Babette felt called to guide other mothers through loss & provided grief counseling in her church community. She inspired many through her devotion to God & compassion­ate spirit & was always willing to lend a helping hand to someone in need.

A celebratio­n of life and memorial service for Babette will be held on Friday, September 29th, 2017, 10:30 a.m. at Legacy Church East Campus, 4701 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerqu­e, NM 87111.
