Tafoya, Leonard E.

Leonard E. Tafoya, 78 of Murrieta, California passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017.

Born February 27, 1939, son to the late Nick Tafoya and late Rosita Armijo Tafoya.

He was the loving husband of Teresa Tafoya and is survived by his children, Kim, Eddie (Julie), Cherrie, Kyndal and Cole (Rachel); eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; siblings, Bishop Arthur N. Tafoya, Rosalie (Daniel), Herman (deceased), Larry (Viola), Priscilla, Andy (Katherine) and many loving nieces and nephews.

Leonard served in the U. S. Air Force, was a successful businessman, loved to travel, particularly to China and play golf. His family & Abq friends are blessed to have had him in their lives and will forever hold him close to their hearts.

Family requests that in lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of the Valley.

A Rosary will be held at 6:00 PM on Sept. 25, 2017, with the Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM on September 26, 2017, both taking place at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 4th St. NW, 87114. Burial to follow at San Carlos Cemetery. A Reception will be held directly after at Nativity Parish Hall.
