Lobo volleyball wins finale in Toledo

TOLEDO, Ohio — The University of New Mexico volleyball team (8-4) beat Tennessee Tech 3-1 (25-15, 24-26, 25-17, 21-17) on Saturday to cap the Blue/Gold Invitational. Lauren Twitty had 20 kills for UNM, which gaints some momentum heading into Thursday’s Mountain West opener at Colorado State.

NMSU 3, WILLIAM & MARY 0: At the Wildcat Classic in Tucson, New Mexico State (7-5) salvaged their third and final match of the event with a 25-19, 25-22, 25-12 win over the Tribe (2-11). Tatyana Battle recorded a double-double with 11 kills.
