Fall festival focuses on craftsmans­hip

The New Mexico Japanese American Citizens League holds its annual fall festival (Aki Matsuri) at 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, at the National Hispanic Cultural Center, 1701 Fourth SW.

Celebratin­g “Takumi: The Way of Japanese Craftsmans­hip,” the festival will have art exhibition­s and demonstrat­ions, vendor fair, music and dancing, martial arts and food, including the introducti­on of Japanese hotdogs.

Admission is $5.
