Fall festival focuses on craftsmanship

The New Mexico Japanese American Citizens League holds its annual fall festival (Aki Matsuri) at 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, at the National Hispanic Cultural Center, 1701 Fourth SW.

Celebrating “Takumi: The Way of Japanese Craftsmanship,” the festival will have art exhibitions and demonstrations, vendor fair, music and dancing, martial arts and food, including the introduction of Japanese hotdogs.

Admission is $5.
