THE ECONOMICS OF HAPPINESS CONFERENCE will be held Thursday-Saturday at the New Mexico School for the Deaf, 1600 Cerrillos R.d in Santa Fe. The conference focus is on promoting our local and regional economy in an environmen­tally and culturally sensitive manner and is structured to minimize conflicts with attendees’ work schedules.

The schedule for the conference is from 6-9:30 p.m. on Thursday; 1-6 p.m. and 7-9:30 p.m. on Friday; and from 9 a.m.-12:15 p.m., 1:15- 5:45 p.m. and 7-9:30 p.m. on Saturday. Registrati­on opportunit­ies are offered for either all of the conference or individual sessions of the conference. Signed language interprete­rs will be available throughout the conference.

The Santa Fe Economics of Happiness Conference is part of a worldwide series of programs conducted under the auspices of Local Futures/Internatio­nal Society for Ecology, a California-based 501(c)(3) organizati­on. The conference’s local sponsor is Reconnect-Today, www.reconnect-today.org.
