David J. Artman born on October

14, 1942 passed away after a brief Illness on Sunday, October 8, 2017 surrounded by his wife and children.

David was born in Mount Clemens, Michigan to the late John M. and Erma Anthony Artman. David served in the Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1964. He entered the constructi­on industry where he thrived until his retirement in 2010. His work took him to Pennsylvan­ia, New Jersey, Wisconsin, Virginia, and Indiana before settling in Rio Rancho, NM.

He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Everyone will remember him for his dry sense of humor, commitment to his beliefs and support of the community. He enjoyed traveling the US with wife, was an avid photograph­er capturing beautiful images of his travels to share with family and friends. He will be forever missed, but his spirit and love will stay with all who knew him.

He leaves behind his wife, Donna; children, Barbara (Monty), Patricia (Frank), Christophe­r (Deena) Lynea, Douglas (Melissa); grandchild­ren, Cecilia, Jonathan, and Jackson, whom he all adored. In addition, are his brother Dennis; nieces, Renee and Danielle, numerous cousins who he enjoyed spending time with during his travels.
