Sam Sandoval Jr. joined Jesus on

Sun., Oct. 15, 2017. Born on September 7, 1959, to

Sam and Mary Sandoval and was a life long resident of Alb, NM.

Sam was survived by his mother and father; brother Alfred and wife Andrea Sandoval; sister Trisha and husband Steve Gutierrez, sister Elizabeth and husband David Flanery and two children, son Samuel and wife Christina Sandoval, and daughter Antoinette and husband John Pearse and three grandchildren that meant the world to him. Sam had many nieces, nephews, cousins, and Aunts and Uncles that loved him.

Sam was a positive and motivating person. Sam will be forever remembered for his kind heart and favorite quotes "I am tougher than tough, Stronger than Strong, Smarter than Smart!" & "I am the greatest, Bruise on the inside!". Many thanks to all who loved him.

Sam’s Celebration of life will be on Sat., Nov. 4, from 11am-4pm at Post 49.

Maria Colunia Segura-Metzgar, age 109, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2017.

The Rosary will be recited on Sunday, October 22, 2017, at 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, on 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW 87105. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Maria’s 110th birthday, Monday, October 23, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, with a reception to follow at the parish hall.
