April Joy Coleman

April Joy Coleman 56, of Albuquerque, NM was born On April 17, 1961. She went to be with our Heavenly Father on Sun., Oct. 22, 2017.

April is preceded in death by her father Leo C Fowner; brothers Carl Fowner, Eddie Fowner; sister June E Fowner; sisterin-law (outlaw) Michele Fowner; stepfather Virgil Bogart; mother-in-law Helen Coleman and husband Howard "Fella" Coleman. She is survived by her mother Shirley Bogart; brothers Andrew Fowner and spouse Najma, James Fowner; step-brother Andrew (Bubba) Key and spouse Linda Key; daughters Shirley & spouse Heather Jones, Nicole Morgan and spouse DeCorian Morgan; Grandchildren Hannah, Haley, Lennon, Nya, Ivyonna, DeCorian jr, DeMarcus, DeSean and DeAndre; significant other Ray Maldonado of CO;

April was employed by APS as a security officer, she lived most of her life at the baseball fields whether playing baseball, umpiring or doing fundraisers for many others. She adored her family & friends & also had a deep love for her Dallas Cowboys! Her laugh and smile was contagious she will be dearly missed by many.

Gone too soon ...... May you rest in paradise. April would not want any of us to cry for her, she is set free of the pain of this world and welcomed into the light waiting our arrival.

The pallbearers are Andrew Fowner, Bubba Key, Andy Fowner, Ray Maldonado, Jose Hernandez, and Jim Fowner. Graveside services are Fri., Oct. 27th 2017 at 1:30pm at Sunset Memorial Cemetery, 924 Menaul NE, celebration of life to follow. Any questions call Amanda 440-2989 & Andrew 550-7342.
