DS: OF COURSE there were no 11-0 signs this past Sunday at the Pit because the Lobos only tied the program’s overall winning streak. It’s a tall order to beat Oklahoma on the road but just in case, against your wishes, hopefully someone will pack some 12-0 signs for a photo-op if the Lobos win and set another record. DS also informed us that if UNM finished the season undefeated, they would get some respect. I sure hope so...because wouldn’t that make them good old-fashioned national champions? — NM Old Timer

LADY LOBOS OUT of the Top 25 ranking .... WHAT?!? There is exactly ONE team in the Top 25 for women’s basketball this week with an 11-0 record, Louisville. Eighteen, (yes 18) teams have at least one loss and snotty Stanford has 4 losses and is still ranked #18. Please somebody, give the AP sports writers a dose of hot chile to cough up a reality check and rank our team. — AU
