DENVER — Nathan MacKinnon kept up his torrid home scoring with a goal, Jonathan Bernier stopped 33 shots and the Colorado Avalanche beat the Anaheim Ducks 3-1 on Monday for its seventh straight win.

Matt Nieto and Colin Wilson also scored for the Avs, who are on their longest win streak since the 2005-06 season.

MacKinnon leads the league in scoring on home ice this season with 41 points (15 goals and 26 assists) in 24 games.

Bernier has been sensational since stepping in because Semyon Varlamov has been sidelined by a lower-body injury. Bernier came up big midway through the second period when he reached out with his stick to thwart Ryan Kesler. That set up a rush the other way, with MacKinnon scoring on a wrist shot past Ryan Miller.

Chris Wagner had a goal in the second period for Anaheim. It was his first since Nov. 27. STARS 3, BRUINS 2 (OT): In Boston, former Boston firstround draft pick Tyler Seguin scored on a delayed penalty in overtime to lead Dallas.

Boston rallied from a 2-0 deficit to send the game into overtime and earn a point for the 13th consecutive game. But with about 3 minutes left in the 3-on3 overtime, the referee signaled for a penalty. SHARKS 4, KINGS 1: In Los Angeles, Chris Tierney had a goal and an assist, and Martin Jones made 35 saves in San Jose’s third straight victory over rival Los Angeles.

Barclay Goodrow and Mikkel Boedker ended lengthy goal droughts for the Sharks, who built a three-goal lead during another strong game by Jones against his former Kings teammates. ISLANDERS 5, CANADIENS 4 (OT): In Montreal, the Islanders somehow pulled out an overtime win over the Canadiens on John Tavares’ second goal of the night, 1:51 into overtime.

Thomas Greiss made 52 saves and was under siege all evening, especially late in the third. The Islanders were clinging to a 4-3 lead and were down to five defensemen, with Scott Mayfield out after taking a puck to the mouth in the second period.
