Alejandro F. Garcia

Alejandro F. Garcia, age 82, born in Canon De Jemez, New Mexico and resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018. Mr. Garcia is survived by his beloved wife of

61 years, Angelita Garcia; children, Edwigen and wife, Sandra, Bernard, Larry, Peter, Carmen Duarte and husband, John; sister, Flora Rivera; brothers, Willie and wife, Maryann Garcia, Ralph and wife, Virginia Garcia; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Garcia was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Pablita Garcia; parents-in-law, Eduvigen and Anita Baldonado; brothers, Delfino Garcia and Orlando Garcia. Mr. Garcia proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for three years during the Korean War.

A Rosary will be recited Monday, January 29, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd. SW, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., and interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Fortney, Elijah Ybarra, Larry Garcia, Timothy Montoya, Ryan Garcia, Joseph Lucero, Ernie Baldonado and Raymond Baldonado.
