UNM swimmers win on Senior Day

The University of New Mexico women’s swimming and diving team celebrated Senior Day with a dual-meet win over New Mexico State on Saturday. The Lobos won 13 of the 16 events in a 192-108 victory, extending their winning streak versus NMSU to six.

Senior Madison Burns, who was competing in her final home meet as a Lobo, won four of her events on the day — the 50-yard (23.59) and 100-yard freestyles (51.85), and the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams. Deidra Dorough and Celine Bertrand were also in their final meets for UNM.

New Mexico returns to action Friday at Air Force.
