Anaheim ends Bruins’ 18-game points streak
Vegas stuns Flames with 3-goal burst
BOSTON — Adam Henrique scored twice as the Anaheim Ducks ended Boston’s 18-game point streak with a 3-1 victory over the Bruins on Tuesday night.
Jakob Silfverberg also scored for the Ducks, the first team to beat the Bruins in regulation since Washington’s 5-3 win Dec. 14 at Boston. Cam Fowler and Rickard Rakell had two assists apiece.
John Gibson made 25 saves before leaving in the third period with an undisclosed injury. Ryan Miller played the final 7:25 and nearly completed a shutout for the Ducks before Ryan Spooner scored for Boston with 41 seconds left.
Henrique scored into an empty net with 6.1 seconds remaining to seal it for the Ducks, who halted Boston’s five-game winning streak and a stretch of 18 games with at least one point (14-0-4), which tied for the second-longest in franchise history. GOLDEN KNIGHTS 4,
FLAMES 2: In Calgary, Alberta, Jonathan Marchessault scored the go-ahead goal and added an assist as Vegas scored three times in the final two minutes to beat Calgary.
Just 10 seconds after Erik Haula tied it 2-all at 18:14 of the third period, Marchessault got around Mark Giordano and beat Calgary goalie Mike Smith over his glove.
PENGUINS 5, SHARKS 2: In Pittsburgh, Evgeni Malkin got his 12th career hat trick and Bryan Rust scored two goals as Pittsburgh rallied past San Jose.
Malkin’s 24th goal of the season late in the second period tied it. His 25th early in the third gave Pittsburgh the lead for good and his 26th rolled into an empty net with just more than a minute remaining.
JETS 3, LIGHTNING 1: In Winnipeg, Manitoba, Michael Hutchinson made 23 saves in his first NHL start of the season to help Winnipeg beat leagueleading Tampa Bay.

Mike Matheson, Evgenii Dadonov, Keith Yandle and Jonathan Huberdeau scored for the Panthers. HURRICANES 2, SENATORS 1: In Raleigh, N.C., Sebastian Aho and Victor Rask scored in the third period as Carolina edged Ottawa.
Cam Ward made 29 saves for Carolina.
DEVILS 3, SABRES 1: In Buffalo, N.Y., Taylor Hall scored in his first game after missing three with an injury to his right hand as New Jersey snapped a four-game skid with a win over Buffalo.
Kyle Palmieri scored an empty-netter for the Devils. BLUES 3, CANADIENS 1: In St. Louis, Carter Hutton made 33 saves and Ivan Barbashev broke a scoreless tie in the second period to help St. Louis defeat Montreal.
