Nino S. Trujillo

1939-2018 Nino Trujillo, age 78, a resident of Los Lunas, NM, president and qualifying broker of Nino Trujillo and Company Inc., passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018. He was a member of San Clemente Catholic Church. Nino was the leading fund raiser for the San Clemente building fund for the new church. He was a 1958 graduate of Belen High School. Nino was a member of the Valencia County Hispano Chamber of Commerce, past president of the Lobo Club, past chairman of the New Mexico State Fair, active member of the Democratic Party, delegate in 1980 to the Democratic National Convention, citizen of the year Greater Belen Chamber of Commerce, Commercial Associatio­n of Realtors, Greater Albuquerqu­e Associatio­n of Realtors, past board member of New Mexico Lottery Authority, Belen Economic Developmen­t and the National Associatio­n of Industrial and Office Properties.

He is preceded in death by his grandson, Joe Kenneth Trujillo; his father and mother, Horacio Trujillo and Amada Sedillo Trujillo; his brother, Tony Trujillo; his sisters, Fela and Maggie Gutierrez; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe Tabet and Lily Baca Tabet; his brother-in-law, Wilfred Tabet. Nino is survived by his wife, Gloria Tabet Trujillo; his sons, Kenneth (Ana), Jimmy (Annette), Michael (Emily), John, Dino, Bobby (Kerry); his daughters, Lorraine Martinez, Adrienne Trujillo; his grandchild­ren, Julie, Carlos, Nikki, Clarice, Frankie, Corinna, Christophe­r, Miguel, Mario, Max, Aidan, and Layla; his great-grandchild­ren, Ava, Alissa, Aliyah, Treg, Wyatt, Vayda, Delila, Wade, Brayden, Viviana, Leonidas, McKenzie, Cash and Mila.

All services will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. A viewing will be held at 6:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2018. A final viewing will begin at 12:30 p.m., with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens. Pallbearer­s will be Carlos, Mario, Max, Miguel, Christophe­r, and Aidan Trujillo, Frankie Martinez and Hugo "Primo" Arreola. Honorary pallbearer­s will be Herman Tabet, Benny Sisneros, Sylvester Sisneros, Jerry Apodaca, Bob Cooper, Leroy Baca and Richie Tabet.
