Elzada Bessie Young Teare

Jan. 21, 2018 Elzada Bessie Teare, 97, passed away peacefully of natural causes, at home in West Jordan, Utah, on Sunday, January

21, 2018.

She was born in Cuba, New Mexico. Her parents were Earl Brigham Young and Hatch Young.

Elzada married James L. Teare (Jim) in Santa Fe, NM. They lived in Los Alamos, NM, Chevy Chase, MD and later Bethesda, MD.

After Jim retired, he and Elzada served four missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and then they moved to New Mexico. Elzada

Jim passed away in 2008 and Elzada is survived by her daughter, Jane Braithwaite (Karl); sons, James (Cheryl), Mark (Nan), Gary (Annie); daughter, Ellen Reed (Bill); and sister, Betha Mount. She had 20 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

The graveside service at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico, will be Friday, February 2, 2018 at 11:15 am.
