This letter is personal. I am uniquely qualified to share information about Alan because I am his cousin and have known him all his life. Alan and I grew up together in St. Louis in a closely knit, loving family of cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents .We were raised to look out for each other, be kind, be compassionate, respectful of each other and our planet, and know right from wrong. We learned to listen to each other and love each other for who we are.
