Isleta celebrates Valentine’s with Volkswagen Beetle drawings

It’s the season for love, and Isleta Resort & Casino is giving away “Love Bugs” this February. Enter to win cash and qualify each Friday and Saturday between Feb. 11 and March 24 for your chance to win a new Volkswagen Beetle, which will be given away on Saturdays. There will be a total of six Beetles given away during the promotion. Find yourself a “Sweet Deal” and win up to $1,000 in cash every Sunday from Feb. 11 through March 4. One winner will be selected every hour between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. for a chance to win some cash.

Add some love to your accessory collection with a free beaded Valentine’s Day necklace. Stop by the Players Club from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for your new jewelry, which will be available while supplies last. Lovers also can enjoy a Valentine’s dinner for two upstairs in Embers Steakhouse. The menu features grilled bacon-wrapped petite filet and butter-basted lobster tail, served with creamy truffle mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and red wine sauce. End the dinner with an indulgent raspberry crème brûlée for dessert. Dinner is available from 5 to 10 p.m. for $44 per person.

Every Thursday in February, Isleta will hold drawings every 15 minutes from 1 to 10 p.m. for a chance to win up to $500. All cash winners will have until midnight to claim their prize. Everyone is eligible to swipe at the kiosk for an entry to win.

The Lunar New Year is around the corner, and Isleta is celebratin­g with a Year of the Dog celebratio­n on Feb. 16. Guests are invited to enjoy a Lunar Year Dragon Dance.

Isleta continues its “$25,000 Cash Climb” through Feb. 10. Stop in every Friday and Saturday to win cash or free play and get qualified for the “$25,000 Cash Climb Finale” at 10 p.m. every Saturday night.

Heads up, table game players. Starting on Sunday, Feb. 4, Isleta will host a “Table Games Points/Race Challenge.” Earn points daily through Feb. 18 at 8 p.m. for a chance to win up to $5,000 in chips.

Poker players can be part of the “Winter Classic” every Saturday now through March 31. Isleta will host the event with a $200 added money tournament at 7 p.m. on Saturdays. The winner of each Saturday night event will receive an entry into the $3,000 finale, which will be held on Nov. 31.

Isleta’s bingo hall has plenty going on this February.

Play bingo at Isleta this Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 4. There will be a $5 all-youcan-play buy-in paying out $500 and a $10 all-you-can-play buy-in paying out $1,000. All guests will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a new game day grill.

Celebrate Fat Tuesday on Feb. 13 with a free bingo session. Guests who attend the evening session will receive their first pack free, paying $250. Additional packs can be purchased for $5 each, which will pay $500. The next day enjoy Valentine’s Day Bingo during the Feb. 14 evening session. Isleta will offer all-you-can-play buy-ins for $5 paying $500 or $10 paying $1,000. Get the “Be Mine” package for $50 with six $5 buy-ins and one of every special, or the “Hearts of Fire” package for $75 with six $10 buy-ins and one of every special. A couple days later, it’s time for Lunar New Year Bingo on Feb. 16. All bingo players will receive their first pack for free, which pays $250 cash. Additional packs are $5, paying $500. On Feb. 19, Isleta will host its President’s Day Bingo. All bingo players will receive their first pack free, which pays $250. Additional packs are $5, paying $500. There will also be a President’s game for $2 paying out $300.
